Why Seconds Count.

By no means do we want to strike fear in our community.  We do, however, want everyone to be aware of the dangers of fire.  A fire in a house moves very, very fast.  It is paramount that everyone gets out as soon as they can and doesn't try to save anything.  This video also shows the importance of having fire resources within 5 minutes of a fire.  There are many homes outside of the 5 minute response area, illustrating the challenge our fire department faces for service...

Northwest part of town, including Chadwick Square, Liberty and Del Webb: Approximately 3,000 homes
Northeast part of town, including Marsh Creek: 700+ homes
Southeast part of town: 1,000+ homes
Southwest part of town: 500+ homes
